Things I Believed When I Was Little
We all have illogical things we believed before we reached the age of reason. Here are a few of mine.
That I would go down the bathtub drain with the bathwater.
That my parents were personal friends with every waiter or waitress at every restaurant we went to.
That everyone put butter on cream donuts like my father did.
That a passing train could suck me in from 10 feet away (thanks, mom).
That I could make perfume by soaking rose petals in water.
That the sandwich I ate with my tomato soup was called "girl cheese."
